Natroceutics Alpha Lipoic Acid Bioactive exclusively utilises Bio-Enhanced® Na-RALA, a potent, stable, and nature identical form of ALA, supported by science to deliver therapeutic and health-enhancing benefits.

All known biological systems that utilize alpha lipoic acid (ALA) rely exclusively on the R-form, the natural enantiomer synthesized in the mitochondria and incorporated into enzyme complexes that convert food into cellular energy and support antioxidant defenses. This form plays a role as both an electron-transfer agent and redox-active coenzyme, supporting mitochondrial energy metabolism,  cellular detoxification, and overall physiological resilience.

Despite its biological significance, R-ALA lipoic acid in its conventional form is  chemically unstable, and poorly soluble. These are factors that limit absorption and therapeutic utility when taken orally.

Natroceutics® Alpha Lipoic Acid Bioactive addresses these limitations with a stabilized sodium salt form of R-lipoic acid, scientifically shown to deliver superior bioavailability.
