This formula combines the effects of traditional herbal adaptogens from all over the world, which have been used over time to enhance immune response, energy and resilience.
The Chinese herbs codonopsis, schizandra, rhodiola and astragalus combined with the ayurvedic adaptogen ashwaganda, promote a balanced stress response resulting in improved mood, greater energy, reduced incidence of chronic disease, and increased longevity.
Translated, the traditional Brazilian name for pfaffia paniculata means “for everything” describing the impressive adaptogenic effects of this little-known American herb. Rehmannia and poria have tonifying effects on soft organs. Paeonia root tonifies the blood and preserves the yin, nourishes the liver and assists in the smooth flow of qi, and atractylodes, a well-established Chinese herb, tones the spleen and qi, with a slight diuretic effect. All the tonifying herbs in this formula support different aspects of circulation and blood integrity.
Polygala tenuifolia is acclaimed in Chinese medicine to “nourish heart and spirit” while maca has been prised in the Andes over the centuries as a fertility tonic, for its usefulness in women’s health and for general sexual system disfunction.
